Cowboy Hats, Cakes & Community Spirit: Acorn Raises Funds for Macmillan on Dolly Day

The team at Acorn Waste Management came together today for a fun-filled Dolly Day, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support whilst enjoying plenty of cakes, costumes and team spirit.

Colleagues embraced the theme with cowboy hats, checked shirts, country-inspired outfits and, of course, a few unmistakable Dolly Parton-inspired wigs. Alongside the fancy dress, a cake sale featuring a fantastic selection of homemade and shop-bought treats helped raise additional funds for this worthy cause.

Macmillan Cancer Support provides practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by cancer across the UK. The charity’s work touches countless lives every day, making a real difference to individuals and families facing incredibly difficult circumstances.

Events such as Dolly Day are a great opportunity for our team to come together, have some fun and support organisations that provide essential services within our communities.
